Chrome Enterprise

Introduction

Google approached me with a specific goal in mind – to demystify common misconceptions about Google Chrome Enterprise. They wanted to address three prevalent myths potential clients might have and dispel them in simple terms. The objective was to make the understanding of Chrome Enterprise less overwhelming for potential customers by using the analogy of a mountain climber.

Process

Project Goals

1. Demystify common myths about Chrome Enterprise.

2. Use the analogy of a mountain climber to convey the idea of overcoming challenges and achieving success.

3. Employ visual analogies of mountain climbing, such as finding footing and watching for potential problems like falling rocks.

4. Utilize a flat 2D illustration style with rotoscoping from a live-action mountain climber to depict the journey.

5. Promote the benefits and features of Chrome Enterprise in a concise and engaging manner.

6. Encourage potential clients to contact their SYNNEX representative to learn more about offering Google Chrome Enterprise.

Phase 01

Based on the client’s objectives and the analogy of a mountain climber, I brainstormed ideas for the visual representation of the animation explainer. I focused on incorporating key elements of mountain climbing, such as finding footing, overcoming obstacles, and reaching the summit.

Phase 02

Using the information provided by the client, I drafted a script that countered the three common myths about Chrome Enterprise. The script used clear and concise language, while maintaining the mountain climbing analogy throughout. The script emphasized the security features, integration capabilities, and user-friendly nature of Chrome Enterprise.

Phase 03

Using the approved script and storyboards as a guide, I began work on the animation sequences. The animation style emphasized the flat 2D illustrations and seamlessly integrated the rotoscoped live-action footage.

Phase 04

Once the client approved the final animation, I worked with a narrator for VO and laid down the audio with an approved soundtrack.
